About Karatasi Collective Karatasi Collective creates handmade paper goods and creative materials made from natural and repurposed fibres including banana, pineapple, and elephant grass. Each item is crafted by women artisans in Uganda, and no two pieces are ever identical. All our creations celebrate sustainability, creativity, and cultural storytelling. 3. Handmade Nature & Product Variations Due to the handmade nature of our products, there may be slight variations in colour, texture, size, or finish. These differences are part of the beauty of each creation and are not considered defects. By purchasing from Karatasi Collective, you acknowledge and appreciate the uniqueness of handmade work. 4. Orders & Availability All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email confirmation. If an item is unavailable or delayed, we will notify you promptly. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or supply limitations. 5. Pricing & Payment All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, and product details at any time without prior notice. 6. Processing & Dispatch Our team prepares each order with care. Please allow 3–5 working days for processing before dispatch. During busier periods or for made-to-order pieces, processing may take up to 7–10 working days. All items are shipped using sustainable, recyclable packaging. Our handmade boxes are crafted from the same natural fibres used in our products. 7. Shipping & Delivery We currently ship from the United Kingdom and offer worldwide delivery. Delivery times will vary depending on your location. Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number where available. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer. 8. Returns & Refunds Because our products are handmade, each piece is unique. We accept returns for faulty or damaged items only. If you believe your item is defective, please contact us at info@karatasicollective.com within 14 days of receiving your order with photos and a description of the issue. Refunds or replacements will be processed once the item has been inspected. We do not accept returns for minor variations, natural fibre inconsistencies, or change of mind. 9.
